Baseball Program

Where:

Welcome to the Norrisville Baseball where we strive to provide a great baseball program to our community.

Norrisvillle Home Fields are located at both the Norrisville Recreation Complex and Norrisville Elementary School.

    • Norrisville Recreation Complex: 5310 Norrisville Road, White Hall, MD 21161
    • Norrisville Elementary School: 5302 Norrisville Road, White Hall, MD 21161

The Tee Ball Teams and Clinic/Coach Pitch Teams compete against local teams located in Jarrettsville and North Harford.

The 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15 Teams compete in the Upper Chesapeake Recreational Baseball League against local teams from Jarrettsville, Fallston, North Harford and Delta, PA. The season concludes with a tournament.

 

Age Groups:

Player age prior to April 1

5-6: Tee Ball:

In Tee Ball, the goal is to teach baseball fundamentals. Players will focus on hitting, fielding, throwing, and catching. No live pitching is permitted in this division and players hit off a tee.

7-8 Clinic/Coach Pitch:

The Clinic/Coach Pitch program focuses on continued development of fundamental skills with an emphasis on teamwork. Players hit overhand balls thrown by a coach. If a player misses pitched balls, then the player will hit from a tee.

9-10:

The 9-10 program is designed for players use their baseball fundamentals while increasing the game pace and playing time. Players are introduced to pitching, catching and base stealing (no leading). Games last six innings.

11-12:

The 11-12 program builds on the 9-10 program by adding the dropped third strike rule, the infield fly rule, base leading, and base stealing including home. Games last six innings.

13-15:

The 13-15 program advances the competition by increasing the base and mound distances while permitting the players to slash bunt and head-first sliding. Games last seven innings.
