Heather Greer Fund
Heather Nicole Greer
April 21, 1997 - July 28, 2011
On July 28, 2011, the Norrisville Community lost one of our special members. Heather Greer, 14, an incoming Freshman at North Harford High School was struck by a car while crossing Rte. 136. Heather was very athletic young lady, playing softball, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, boating, and kayaking. She also played flute and piano in the school band. Heather loved her friends, traveling, and vacation times. Heather was incredibly loving and kind to animals. She raised chickens in her backyard and had a special fondness for turtles. Heather spent much of her time volunteering at the Norrisville Fire Company where she is greatly missed by all.
 Heather was a rare combination of special traits. She had an adventurous, bold spirit willing to try anything yet was kind to anyone. Heather liked being her own person with her own style yet had a strong sense of community and volunteerism. She embodies all we hope for our children. The Norrisville Rec Council is honoring her memory with the Heather Greer Memorial Field.
Heather Greer Memorial Field Fund
The Heather Greer Memorial Field Fund has been established to finance an electronic scoreboard and memorial sign bearing Heather's name. The sign will be constructed on the large playing field at the Norrisville Rec Center. The Harford County Government has officially approved the naming of this field. We are very excited to see future game schedules and event listings name Heather Greer Field as their location!
